Sally said she's trying to get me in for the medical next week so should be fine, I think I only have to give 1 month notice at work

Just received an email asking me to bring right to work documents down to the academy in Stratford, with a temporary travel voucher being offered on my day of choice.

That's what I'm thinking about, I've got to give four weeks before 8th October. A week is really tight
It is tight but should be fine, I've done a medical before that I passed and the only thing they have to check that takes a few days is the urine and I already know that'll be fine so shouldn't be an issue. I don't know what'll happen if I can't give my employer a month notice for some reason

It is permissible in regs with a certain level of permission. One of our chaps got a security job in Afghan at a weeks notice and got permission.

2 weeks still left from today until the 8th September, I got my results in 2 days so all should be fine.

I've known of people that have just handed in their warrant card and left and there was no issue. I'd rather not do that though
