Twitter is Twitter, and you'll always get people claiming they are someone they aren't. TERFs have been posting stickers around, the vast majority may not have blades underneath but there is always the chance.

Transgender activists posts stickers too, should we assume some of them might have razor blades?

This was a hoax. No news. Nothing to talk about. The end.

The BTP have stated that one reported incident in Manchester was a hoax. That doesn't mean people should be reckless about this when it has been a tactic used in the past.

Also, it probably should go without saying, but it's pretty unlikely the customer relations departments on Twitter actually know what is going in operational notices to drivers and other staff...

Customer relations and social media staff have access to Tyrell and other operational notices. I used to be one.

The chance of you cutting your finger on a sticker containing a razor is extremely small. Nothing to see here. Just shrug, admit it’s a hoax, and walk away, denying the people or person who did this (a smearer) attention and credibility. Don’t spread fear.

Well, razors in posters may not be true! But I know of razors in toilet rolls! Many years ago a mate of mine was cleaning through a 4VEP off a slow Waterloo service at Portsmouth, that someone had dumped a whole unused toilet roll in the bin. He for some reason inserted is gloved fingers in the roll centre, which was just as well. Because some swine had inserted razor blades into the paper, pointing out! If he had place his hands around the roll...dread to think! Needless to say, he was slightly shaken.
