Just going back union of south Africa and the great marquess will be sadly missed two great machines we won't be able to witness anymore so sad another a4 stuffed and mounted

It's a shame Ellermen lines is sectioned would be great if she could be rebuilt

I don't have a problem with it myself. If it was a unique loco, then yes, but there's plenty of functional Bulleid Pacifics out there.

Rocket (although a non starter due to fragile condition) or at least the replica, to travel between Liverpool and Manchester in some open wagons for the 200th anniversary.

I am amazed that nobody has yet suggested getting Aerolite back into working order. To me it seems absolutely essential that we have a working 2-2-4T.

What does "mega wibblers" mean?

Anyway, if we're talking steaming, the train heating boilers on 31018 and D200 fit the bill!
