I've just found a photo on flickr (not my photo) of 345026 working the Crewe-Rugby test run yesterday. My previous understanding of these tests has been that the same unit has worked this run for a week long period (sometimes longer) before being swapped over so I think we have to accept that we both somehow managed to read the number wrong on this occasion :|

I've crossed out the one that @CumbrianSausag kindly helped with but I also want to double check I noted the number of the FLR 70 that hauled 491T 1700 Southampton M.C.T. to Trafford Park F.L.T. as I was at the top of the stairs at Tamworth when it passed through. Again, this is from Wednesday 26th September - any help with this or the ones above would be appreciated :)

Deltic Deviator rail tour. DRS 68004 from Willington to York, then Deltic 55009 leading 68004 dead-in-train from York to Carlisle. Return working will be / is 55009 at the front and 68004 on the rear to York, then 68004 alone back to Willington and onward to Burton on Trent to return the coaching stock.

Thanks, although gutted I missed a Deltic pass through my local station. Do you know when the return journey is?

This may help as these were present the day before:

Nearest mainline (north to south): 56007(blue), 56038(Fertis), 56077(Loadhaul), 56103(DCRail)
Elsewhere: 37905 (green), 37906 (grey/yellow), 37003(blue), 27059(primer), 47813(blue), 47843(blue, at the back, no bogies), 47847(blue), 56060(Fertis), 56065(Fertis), 56091(grey) 56106(grey, one cab missing), 58016(grey)

Non of the above (with the exception of 56103) moves except around the site as they are all stored or under repair. 47812 arrived from Castle Donington today at 12:40.

If there was a blue Class 50 it was 50008, and if they were present the two burgundy / cream 57s were 57305 and 57312. I can't help on any Europhoenix / ROG 37s that might have been around.

I hope this gives you enough to piece together what you've seen.
