A video has appeared on Youtube.

That'll blend in nicely with the new TfW livery on the North Wales Coast: everything white and red.

(If the next ICWC franchisee continues with offering TOC-only flexible tickets along the coast, I can forsee people boarding the wrong trains by mistake...)

They should have made the red fit with the headlight a little better.

The vestuble areas have seen a "facelift" but saloon is the same, apparently.

Looks like they’ve fitted new PIS screens on the coach exteriors. Very much needed as the old ones never seemed to work! Looking forward to seeing the unit without the yellow front in 2019. Does anyone know if this was a one off demo upgrade or will the entire fleet be getting the same treatment going forward?

The front makes it look less sad, heard elsewhere that the yellow will be removed
Funny how now there's no requirement, so many companies are happy to get rid of it.

All Voyagers (at least) will get new external screens.

I can't be the only person here thinking the voyager could do with its Virgin badge back? A little thing I know.

I also think they should've gone for a MML blue and grey Meridian front end warning panel style, rather than just slice through mid yellow stripe. Ifs and buts lol

Its already been mentioned but some of the branding is still missing on it so I bet Bombardier will add the rest soon.

That's a point: the 170s they're cascading to West Wales might not need much redecorating... ;)

That's one of the reasons some of the internal decor was done as it was when they were refurbed recently.

I'm afraid they are wrong it was locked out of use on the rear of the 2023 Euston - Wolverhampton service from where it then went to Central Rivers for finishing off.

Any idea what the finishing touches being done to 221101 are?

Thanks for the update. Whoever saw it obviously didn't see it was locked out of use.

My mate who works for virgin trains said when 221101 will be out it will be via Twitter. They will give out the workings on that day. He reckons next week at some point.
