Morning all, not sure if this is in the correct part of the forum, but here goes.

I’m trying to find on EBay/amazon a ticket clipper similar to the one used by LNER, XC and GWR amongst lots of others. When the ticket is marked it leaves the trains headcode, the date and a small hole, I was wondering if anyone could provide me with the official name, or even better a direct link to one.

There called "ZIFA" stampers.
They are very hard to get hold of. To buy new apperently cost in excess of £100.

As above, they are called Zifa stampers. I got mine off eBay from Germany, mine was used as a bus ticket stamper.

You can contact zifa themselves but they are very hit and miss at wether they reply.

There is a company I’ve found in UK that supply the ink ribbons but also act as a go between, between customer and zifa. They are called Needham Inks.

Cheers for that. I’ve had a look on eBay and couldn’t find any currently. It’s more of a nice to have than a necessity. I’ll check back every so often.
