How do LNER M-Tickets work if connecting services are part of your journey? Will ScotRail accept them for example if travelling from Glasgow to join a service at Edinburgh?
Have they started offering them for connecting services now? In the past they were VTEC-only.How do LNER M-Tickets work if connecting services are part of your journey? Will ScotRail accept them for example if travelling from Glasgow to join a service at Edinburgh?
Sorry, I worded that poorly. I meant that they were only offered for journeys that could be completed using VTEC services - so no '& Connections'.Unfortunately it doesn't work that way (TOC only). The flow is enabled in RCS and then the journey planner can spit out any service between the two flows that is valid for the ticket. Unlike most TOCs LNER have very few LNER only flows so connections are available.
Mobile tickets are available for the majority of tickets between stations we serve as well as selected destinations in the north west.

Edit: This quote from their FAQ indicates this may still be the intention:
Well, it's good to see that ScotRail are accepting them as I remember guards specifically saying that they weren't accepted in days past.I’m pretty sure I know what my intentions were
