I think it does.Isn't the current platform where the old station "throat" used to be anyway, so still part of the station footprint.

I wasn't aware it used to have 9 platforms. That seems pretty excessive for a terminus in the middle of nowhere built to serve a racecourse! IIRC it was down to one before it was closed and rebuilt closer to Sutton. I remember going there when there were four platforms but only one road.

Some platforms were entirely grassed over just for race days.

Ambergate has gone from 6 to 1.

Uttoxeter had quite a few and only now has two.

With I suspect the lowest off peak frequency in the London area - 1 tph - and that was cancelled when I went there last Autumn...

I think you'll find Sudbury and Harrow Road and Sudbury Hill Harrow can both comfortably beat Epsom Downs on that score ;)

Aberdeen has lost a fair amount. I believe only platforms 3-7 are used when once there were 13.

Halifax originally eight? down to two.
Westbury originally four, now down to three.
Queensbury six down to zero.

If we're including closed stations, I think the record is Blackpool Central, 17 to 0.
