I am sure that is everyone elses opinion especially if a class 57 or 47 is used.( I know it is looking likely that 1 of the arriva liveried class 57s is likely to be used.)

Besides since i am sure that there are run round facilities at paigton i wonder if it would be easier to just run the train with 1 locomotive instead of top & tailing?

full diagram for this working is:

Bristol TM 0619
Cardiff 0720

Cardiff 0800
Bristol TM 0855
Taunton 1002
Exeter SD 1035
Paignton 1127

Paignton 1247
Exeter SD 1333
Taunton 1409
Bristol TM 1517
Cardiff 1629

Cardiff 1700
Bristol TM 1753
Taunton 1908

Taunton 1917
Bristol TM 2045

Running round at Paignton isn't a problem, quite frankly its a doddle, however i'd like to see it at Taunton and Cardiff!

Mmm, well I've done Taunton to Cardiff via Bristol Temple Meads so I'm only really interested in Taunton to Paignton.
Need to get Taunton to Weymouth done and I've travel though Westbury on all possible routes.

Still I'm slowly getting there, all lines east of Reading have been done including to Basingstoke and Gatwick.

Excellent stuff, still need 57301, 303, 310 & 311 for haulage and not much opportunity to get them these days since the daily North Wales drags finished.

Well...ive got to say that you wont be able to ride behind 57301 for at least two months if that...and unlike the Railway Herald...i know the official reason...

Other that that i can tell you that its in eastleigh for heavy maintenance...

, cant see why it would be top secret, maybe if it was being fitted with an EE12CSVT they would have reason to not tell anyone (keep the froth away from trespassing on the depot)

Those £5 day rangers work wonders;) Why is it only GW do them as rangers though, and CC, SR, HT do just single or return tickets?

On will be T&T 67, the other T&T 57.

What about Taunton and Cardiff? Can't run round there.....

You can - just with imense flap and time constraints!

I heard 57/3s, which allowed the use of FGW drivers.

With FGW Exeter HSS not signing Cardiff......
