I must admit I was starting to get a little paranoid that it was only me  haha I bet your gutted but if it's any consolation I feel better now . Hopefully they will sort us out with new dates soon enough though it's just one of those things isn't it, can't be helped!

I’m actually a little relieved as I don’t feel prepared for it yet due to the short notice I had

Hello everyone. I've only just come across this forum and have read everyone's updates. Lots of useful stuff.
I've just had my email confirmation for my assessment on Thursday. Hotel and train ticket booked.
I have one big question which you can all laugh at....... what is everyone going to wear? My email said a suit is not required but I've read that you should treat it like any other interview?? I suppose I've had easier problems to sort out but couldn't help but ask. Let me know your thoughts and good luck to all doing the assessments.

That's good news, it must all be fixed and up and running again. Hopefully all the cancelled people will get a new date. Let us know how you feel it goes those of you who have it coming up.

When I did my assessments it stated in the invite that we could go casually. I wore a shirt, shoes and trousers. One guy wore jeans and a black t shirt. If it states casual then I'd say it's fine to do so. One guy wore a full suit and the lady had smart clothes on. The 4 of us doing the assessments all passed on the day so the clothing made no difference.

Congratulations on getting this far. The email is correct, they want you to be comfortable. I know that feels a bit counter intuitive when you're trying to get a job and I was worried about it as well - but all the candidates on my day went for smart casual rather then suits.

Thanks mate. It does feel strange but I'll go fairly smart. If I'm dressed in shirt and trousers i reckon ill focus better anyway.
Thanks again

Welcome mate. I’m going to be smart casual, so chinos, shoes and shirt. Good luck to you.

Well. Had my assessment today and PASSED. They let you know the results at the end of the day.
It's a tough old day my head is banging. There was 4 of us doing the tests and we all passed. The girls taking you through the tests are lovely and really helpful.
You do the written tests first then the computer tests. It's all very similar to the practice material.
Good luck to everyone doing the assessments.

The tests were hard. I found the tea oc test hard even though I think the material was easier. It's hard to explain but the tones you listen too were completely different to what I had practised. There's not much difference between a low tone and a high tone.
All the computer tests were hard. When you've done them you can not help but think that you f*&#ed it. I think the key is just to stay calm. You don't have to everything right!!!!
They said that there is a course starting on 7th jan then a talent pool to wait for other courses. I can't start on the 7th as I'm not in the country but I don't mind waiting for the next course.
Good luck

Thanks

Hi and congratulations!
Can I ask a few questions? Firstly the number of tests you do and the order? Also, with the ARRT is it the same multiple choice options and different pictures, or do they all change on each slide?
Many thanks
