We're you cancelled too?
They only phoned me today so they might be like literally filling slots as they come available maybe?
Yea, judging by previous arrangements going a bit off piste I'm not too worried. Just wanna be able to get time off work and sort home arrangements.

Hi and congratulations!
Can I ask a few questions? Firstly the number of tests you do and the order? Also, with the ARRT is it the same multiple choice options and different pictures, or do they all change on each slide?
Many thanks
You do all the tests as per the practice material in the booklet. We did the written tests first then the computer tests followed by the MMI.

With the ARRT its the same options but different pictures. ( that test is hard!! a lot of guesswork )

The tests were hard. I found the tea oc test hard even though I think the material was easier. It's hard to explain but the tones you listen too were completely different to what I had practised. There's not much difference between a low tone and a high tone.
All the computer tests were hard. When you've done them you can not help but think that you f*&#ed it. I think the key is just to stay calm. You don't have to everything right!!!!
They said that there is a course starting on 7th jan then a talent pool to wait for other courses. I can't start on the 7th as I'm not in the country but I don't mind waiting for the next course.
Good luck
Thanks for that info, Sure you’re made up passsing. Quick question about the group bourdon test,, Did you strike across the 4 dots or circle them out? And how many lines did you get through on each paper, Also I take theres 25 per row as the online practice tests? Thanks

You have mark a line across the 4 dots. It's all.explained to you before the test. I didn't count how many lines I got.down to but it was probably just ober half way. Maybe 9 or 10 lines and I was pretty consistent for all 5 pages.

Hi all, I’ve just (successfully,) completed the tests with a FOC. Best advise I can give is,

Stay focused, don’t panic if you think you have missed anything or made a mistake and remain relaxed.
Accuracy is as important (if not more,) than speed. A lot of the tests you do, you will not finish. They are designed to see how well you learn, your eye for detail, your concentration and your suitability for training.

Massive congratulations! Also thank you for answering so many questions for everyone on here! What a good samaritan you are! I'm afraid I'm going to ask just one more question which is about the tones you mentioned... I've heard examples where the tones are few and far between and some where they are pretty constant. Any light you could shed on this would be great. Thanks! And well done again!

Hi Choice. The tones were very similar in sound there really wasn't much difference between the high and the low. The speed is also fast. I definitely didn't keep up with it.

They couldn’t accommodate me this week so now I’m awaiting new assessment dates, most likely in the new year.
