Only four years old and it's been painted three times now.
Has it ? I know it was fitted with the Pioneering Spirit graphics but not sure it was repainted ?
It had been involved in a collision and was in Glasgow for repair so they obviously chose to do it whilst it was there .

Sorry, I confused it for another one of the batch. I do remember some StreetLites at Livingston which were in the standard First livery before being painted blue.

Horrible colours
It could look suave with some added gold accents and if the main colours were Grey and Deep Emerald Green, I reckon blacks alittle too much and certain shades of green look cheap and tacky...

Don’t forget that all these dark colours require Durabrite Alloys and a white hanover....dream on Gingerbus1991

The Platinum 12 in Aberdeen already has them. They look OK to me!
black, grass green and dirty white?

May as well paint them Blue, Red, Orange and Proper White.

Pretty sure 37271 has transferred to Glasgow with 37269/70. Photos show it in the generic version of the wedge livery. As much as I do quite like it, what was wrong with the two tone blue?

I note that the usual festive services have 3xx route numbers this year. They used to go by the normal route numbers (with some exceptions, I believe the 38 was down as 38C due to the shorter route).

Sounds to me like the typical case of facts on different topics being mixed together to create a false rumour, I'd have thought it's too early for the council to decide. Even then if it was true i wouldn't make much of it at this stage.

The last WL Tenders were done in September 2016, some changes were made shortly after that because people kicked up hell.

This run for contract is to operate Monday to Saturday commencing on 1 Apr 2016 and win a period of up to five years.

This means the council could change then or just say nan... Since Lothian came on the road, plus other changes to First network, there is at least 4-5 buses worth of work that could be saved out of the budget, right this minute: plus umpteen single jounrey routes, the council would be looking at this and rubbing their hands to save 1/2 a million at least.

If you think it's far too early to be thing about stuff? Fife are already sent out tender docs for next August tender........

Wouldn't say it was dull, just needed something to complete it, maybe at the end side, just like the new livery looks best with a front wedge rather than without. It at least gave some originality compared to the standard First livery.

I think the nearside looks better with the areas served listed next to the number. Perhaps it will look less plain once advert frames are fitted.

......im still not sure of the new First WL livery.....
It's better than the old corporate livery....but I feel it lacks something, just not entirely sure what....
