I’m sure this may have been answered but has anyone recently had an MMI and still waiting for DMi? I passed on 22nd November but haven’t been given a date yet. Should I be worried or is it a normal process?

Lol well done! Yes I had my DMI on the 3rd of October... called last week and was told to wait a few more weeks as they prioritised start dates for the West Depots! So still playing the waiting game !

Do you remember when your MMI was and then how long before you was given a DMI date? I’m waiting now and it’s been a few weeks and getting impatient haha. Cheers

I waited about 4 weeks for an email to book a DMI. Sit tight, it will come.

You put in for ilford depot mate? Have you heard anything from them at all ?

Have you do the personality test after your mmi? I can't remember the exact name of it? My DMI date came exactly 4 weeks after I completed this.

I did my MMI at the end of October, and received my personality assessment 2 days later. My interview invite came one day shy of 4 weeks to the day of completing that. Don’t worry, you are still in the advised 4 week bracket.

Already had it, but i don’t think it went particularly well to be honest.
Many thanks for your reply. However, what I wanted to know was when you were offered the dmi, how long after the personality questionnaire?
I already know that you were contacted approx 4 weeks after the personality questionnaire, how long between that date and the date you had your dmi? Thanks

I got an appointment for both the following week. But there have been a few hiccups since  mainly them forgetting to do things, so have to go again this week. They're dealing with a lot of people, so you have to have a lot of patience... But you're in!

So you was fast tracked lol

I had my DMI on the 3rd of October got an email that I passed it on the 16th and to wait for a start date..

I’ve applied for the Ilford Depot been told by HR to wait a few more weeks as they need drivers more for Old Oak and Maidenhead!!

They are really busy at the moment as Anders99 has said so some of us like me just need to be patient I’m just pleased that I have passed and hope to get a start date any month in 2019 :)

Great to hear everybody is getting along well! I to found out that I had also been successful in my DMI - relieved a lot of stress.

Has anybody filled out and sent off the welcome pack yet? Just regarding the question about agreeing or declining the 48 hour working week? As far as im aware you can make any choice and it won't affect employment. Just curious to how this would change the dynamic of your working week compared to other traniees, anybody know? :s

Also, just of of interest, what documents do they ask you to bring along? Want to prepare beforehand. Many thanks!

Are you the real 'QWERTYAFRO'?? ;)

just a fan  guessing you got the 25th feb start date? I have done the welcome pack, the 48hours thing doesnt affect your roster hours just if you accepted more overtime hours you can go above the 48hours that would have been enforced if you did declare to it.

I have been given the same start date although I originally applied for Ilford Depot but have been offered old oak common. Anyone else applied for Ilford?

Well done to all who start soon! I hope all goes well!

I’ve been on this forum for only a short time and have already had my mind blown researching all the tests and work required to achieve this so I can only imagine the work you’ve put it in for it all to pay off. Hopefully one day I may have the chance to work with somebody of you in the future :)
