I understand the Waterloo-Exeter line was the last line to use loco hauled trains.
My question is when did the last one run it says in the Network South East book that it was 10th July 1993, however it says on the Southern Railway website that the last one was on 26th March 1994.

Do you mean the last regular service on Waterloo-Exeter or the last hauled service of any sort?
Googling the 1994 date (the last Saturday of NSE's life) and Waterloo-Exeter brought me instantly to the final Class 50 tour. This was a charter train, but the stock and locos were BR provided.
Details here: https://www.sixbellsjunction.co.uk/90s/940326pt.htm

This article (right at the end) confirms that regular operations finished in summer 1993, and refers to the class 50 special:

The 1993 date is the right one for regular ops. The 1994 date was a special. 159s had been in operation for some time by then.

When did the Liverpool Street-Kings Lynn stop being loco hauled?

Was there still a Euston to Northampton commuter train that ran under the NSE banner around then?

Yes, for a few months of 1994 there was a hauled cobbler out and backed booked for a RES 86 but very much an NSE train.

There you go, thanks 87015. A timely interjection...

Been trying to recall what caused the reappearance of a hauled working. It wasn’t Watford as that was later, presume there was a different riot with 321 availability, or was it a reaction to 438-448 being packed off to Ilford to kill the Clactons? I though that was earlier than then.
