Which abandoned station would be most useful today?

Just a bit concerned: if this route was built, wouldn't there be a bit of a congestion for Greater Northern trains from WGC/Hertford?
Given how few trains that Kings + already has, and will have post-Thameslink Programme, combined with the proposed reopening of the six tracks on the approach, Kings + has much fewer services compared to equivalent terminal stations utilising a similar number of platforms.

If Moorgate can cope with just two platforms, then using two platforms at Kings + shouldn’t be an issue, I’d have thought.

You forgot Cannon Street, it's so close to the new Bank entrances it might as well be CanonStreet-Bank-Monument-Moorgate-LiverpoolStreet

Mansion House is only a few hundred metres away, let's throw that one in too! Mansion House-Cannon Street-Bank-Monument-Moorgate-Liverpool Street .... at this rate we may as well start building a new underground city!

Brompton Road?

Could provide a useful second station for the museums given how overcrowded South Kensington so often seems. You'd need to reconstruct it with escalators though, the surface building would be redundant.

Apparently Down Street and Brompton Rd possible catchment areas were considered covered by the nearby stations when the escalators were fitted and surface buildings repositioned.

You'd imagine their catchment areas could move just as much in whatever direction if you built escalators in the right direction though!
