Morning all

Can one of you nice experts confirm that the below plan is valid on a Boundary Zone 6 - Oxford Off-peak day return (alongside a travelcard)

Paddington - West Ealing
West Ealing - High Wycombe (using the once a day Chiltern service)
High Wycombe - Oxford
Oxford - Reading
Reading - Paddington

[Map GC for the first leg to Oxford, returning on map LH]

Thanks in advance

Seems fine to me, a London Terminals to High Wycombe ticket is valid via West Ealing and the once a day Chiltern service, I can't see any issues with your combination, but someone more knowledgeable may be able to confirm.

I think the relevant origin station that you need to check the permitted routes from is West Ruislip, being the last station you pass within the zones. I don't think the routes from London Group to Oxford are relevant. But I can't see any reason why West Ruislip to Oxford wouldn't be valid with a single change at High Wycombe; it's almost certainly the shortest route.

The route via Islip is indeed the shortest route.

Thanks everybody, I shall be attempting to do it on Thursday just for the novelty factor of the Chiltern service from West Ealing :)

Just a quick update, no issues with my tickets from the guard on this morning's West Ealing - High Wycombe "Wycombe Wanderer" service :)
