I am going to be making a single trip this Friday (21st) from Wadworth, Doncaster to Valley Centertainment (Sheffield).
To do this, I will be taking the 06:37 number 22 bus to Doncaster, 07:04 Northern Rail service to Rotherham and then 07:34 TramTrain to destination.
Anyone got any idea what my best option for ticketing is?

I don’t know the definitive answer to your question, but South Yorkshire Connect plus ticket costs £8.20 (£8.50 in New Year) and covers buses, trains, trams in South Yorkshire. These tickets can be purchased on First buses and Stagecoach Yorkshire, but I don’t know about East Midland.

BR fares website will tell you the train fare, but where you find tram and tram train fares I don’t know.

Probably for a single journey only it will be cheapest to buy singles - pay on EMMS bus, buy train ticket from booking office at Doncaster, and pay conductor on tram.

You can buy SY Connect Plus day ticket on bus from Wadworth.

A single from Donny to Rotherham is £4.50, it’s £1.80 on the tram. The fare from Wadworth to Donny is £2.60. Total £8.90. So I’d go for the SY Connect Plus day ticket.

There are no Advance tickets on sale for that train on the website - don’t think they do them anyway for such a short journey.

Definitely the SYConnect+. My only advice is just be careful they issue you the correct ticket on the 22 - this route is done by Stagecoach EMid so they dont issue the SY tickets as much, and they used to issue my tickets incorrectly all the time, or even claim they dont exist...

The SYConnect+ plus shows on the Stagecoach M-Ticket App, so maybe worth purchasing on your phone, that's if you have android or ios.

Although First drivers can be quite arsey about it, expecting the QR code to scan and when it doesn't questioning its validity
