Just in case some of you didn’t see the video they made for the last HST at OOC.
At the London end of the route, North Pole depot, the former Eurostar facility across the other side of the GWML from Old Oak Common. There's also a large purpose built maintenance depot at Stoke Gifford, just outside of Bristol Parkway.Where are the 800's getting maintained then?

Yes, as well as Penzance Long Rock for stabling and light maintenance, but I was omitting the smaller facilities for brevity. I think that Plymouth Laira will also continue to have a role in overnight stabling, though I'm aware that it loses its engineering and heavy maintenance roles when the HSTs go.and at Swansea Maliphant
Sorry, I thought you were specifically pointing out the Hitachi sites (rather than GWR-controlled out bases).Yes, as well as Penzance Long Rock for stabling and light maintenance, but I was omitting the smaller facilities for brevity. Good point on the difference there - I honestly hadn't made the connection in the variation in management between Hitachi/GWR at different sites. Fair play on mentioning Swansea Maliphant for completeness.Sorry, I thought you were specifically pointing out the Hitachi sites (rather than GWR-controlled out bases).
This place should have gone out with a bang with a grand open day with every loco turning up in full glory. I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
