I'm looking for links to maps with all/most stations available of the respective country's networks in Europe but, any other country would be welcome too.

So far I've got British ones which are very easy to find, Ireland, a great SNCF Reseau map, NS, SBB CFF FFS and OBB Network Maps. I've had a look on Project Mapping but can't find more. I'd especially like whole Spanish, German and Italian maps. Thanks in advance.

Thank you all

I can't help you with those maps, but the map you've linked for the Netherlands is from last year and doesn't include the newly opened stations. Even though I can't seem to find the new version of that map, there is a different map that does include the stations, but also shows the train services that stop on the stations:

https://www.ns.nl/binaries/_ht_1541...ing/nieuwe-dienstregeling/spoorkaart-2019.pdf

Great, thanks for that updated one.

Great help, cheers!

Belgium : https://www.infrabel.be/fr/documents/c04-carte-technique-du-reseau
Big PDF document with lots of détails. Don't hesitate to zoom in considerably. Lots of other interesting documents in the same folder...

Always love a lot of detail.

Try this place > http://www.bueker.net/trainspotting/maps.php I've found it to be pretty good!

I came across this, but it's not been updated in a while. Saying that, it's a useful site.

If you're interested in ex-CIS countries, this page (and the whole site) is a mine of information : https://www.parovoz.com/maps/supermap/supermap-small.png
It's the map I used to prepare my trip to Uzbekistan. Not updated any more either I think, but still very interesting.

Thanks, I can't understand a word, but I'll figure it out eventually

I looked at the belgian diagrams posted on the site mentioned above and many parts seem seriously outdated too, some by several years.

If you want a little more detail http://www.sporenplan.nl/ gives the track diagrams for several European countries including Holland and Switzerland

Cheers.

For Germany, I used the link below when planning a trip to Berlin in 2015. Someone with more knowledge than me will know if it's up-to-date, but it does include the high-speed line from Halle to Erfurt, which I think is pretty recent.

http://kursbuch.bahn.de/hafas/kbvie...teil&tocinfo=IK_strecken&datei=sk-n&x0=0&y0=0

It's clickable and zoomable (so may work better on PC than phone or tablet).

Thank you! Compared to what we're used to in the UK, I find it odd that there doesn't seem to be a single detailed PDF map of Deutschland anywhere in the public domain.

AFAIK there is no all-inclusive one for Spain, as there is a very strict divisions between the long-distance (=effectively anything other as) and cercanias/rodalies local suburban networks around all big cities. And then there is the heritage of FEVE=narrow gauge, mostly along north-coast. Since at least 2000 i've only noted schematic maps for there. The ADIF =network) or transport-ministry may however have some hidden somewhere.

Try this for Poland. http://mapa.plk-sa.pl/ Interactive.

Select "Linie kolejowe" for the lines and "Punkty eksploatacyyjne" for the stations. Pressing the "A"s will bring the track/station name labels up.

I'm surprised someone hasn't taken the task upon themselves to make one.

This map is reasonably up to date. For instance the line from Gera south to Greiz which used to pass over a long viaduct south of Gera is now shown on a new alignment which avoids that abandoned viaduct. That viaduct was abandoned sometime in 2017 (+/- 1 year).

However, this map still shows the branch line from Oschatz to Glossen, for which I've been unable to find any scheduled trains in 2018 or looking into 2019.

Cheers.

Yes, very annoying! One would think that DB could place a PDF version of their clickable map on line.

See HERE ; not run by DB or terribly frequently but have been running to roughly these times for a number of years.

Thanks 33056! If only I had known about this earlier this year. I could have ridden the 13:11 Oschatz roundtrip as I was returning from Dobeln to Leipzig around that time, and was looking for departures on that branch line. Strange that this line appears on the DB map, but does not appear in the DB online timetable database.

And yet where there is through service, the DB map does not show that line on the map. I refer to the weekend only, private railway line from Illmenau to Rennsteig (with through train service off the Erfurter Bahn Line 42) which does not show up on the DB map (either paper version or online). Fortunately it does appear in local transport service maps.

Not sure if anyone can help with this one; this map shows the smaller intermediate (request?) stops between Aurillac and Vic-sur-Cere in Cantal which existed in 1983 yet are not shown in the current SNCF timetable for that line.

It was my assumption they'd been closed; is it that SNCF timetables don't show the request stops?

Thanks.

Polminhac station appears to be closed. As this is a Reseau map, it's probably shown because it's part of the infrastructure and looking at Google Maps imagery, the platform still exists. Couldn't find a Wiki page for Gare de Polminhac, but the one for nearby Lamativie, also shown in grey, says it closed in 2002 https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gare_de_Lamativie. Strangely Google Maps shows it as an active station, same for Naussac, which closed in 2006 according to Wiki.

Indeed!

In Germany, DB Netze have a publicly accessible registry of infrastructure which can be found here:
https://geovdbn.deutschebahn.com/pgv/public/map/isr.xhtml

Thanks, rather annoying there isn't a PDF but great anyhow.

Thanks! Gathering a good list now. Do you know what the numbers next to the Turkish stations mean?

My assumption is that they are (progressive) kilometrages (+ metres) along the line. Different colours for different types of station/feature - for explanation you will have to translate the key.
