Not to sure which one but went past Newton Heath Depot on my way to work on Tram this afternoon and noticed one of Northern's repainted units had been subjected to the graffiti (tagging) treatment over the Christmas period, not to sure whether it was done in the depot or whether it was done elsewhere and it has been brought to Newton Heath to have the graffiti (tag) took off and repainted back into livery again

This could be 150274, I've seen a photo on Facebook - it was tagged at Buxton

Anyone know which units are stopped for refurb/prm/repaint at the moment please? I have 155343, 158904 & 333013, any 150s or 156s?

Currently on an ex-FNW 156 which has been refurbished. (About time considering I've had a 142 on a service booked to be a 150 twice this week.) With the reduced seat padding there's around 8 inches of space between my knees and the back of the seat in front and I'm 5"11

Someone claimed earlier in this thread the backs on the Chapman seats are new, not just the old ones painted black, despite being identical to the ones there under FNW. Yet this evening on a 150/1 I noticed the seat back in front of me had a crack in it which had obviously been there before the black paint had been applied to it.

They're definitely not new. They are no longer manufactured.

I was just going to ask about 333 001, which I believe returned from Holbeck to Neville Hill a little while back, but so far I haven't seen it out and about. Is there further work being done there before its back in traffic does anyone know?
The redecoration bit at Holbeck around 3 weeks with a further period of around of 2 weeks at Siemens NL presumably for mechanical and electrical work.

Does anybody know whether the class 333 units have any DOO modifications whilst being overhauled at Holbeck and Neville Hill (such as the installation of train cameras and cab monitors for driver door operation. Moving the door opening buttons to the drivers cab etc)

I noticed the other day a refurbished 158 that appeared to have been retrofitted with USB ports for all the seats (not just table seats). Any plans to fit them to any other units e.g. 333?
