All,

I hope this makes sense and I hope someone can assist.

I am after the unit numbers of VEPs, CIGs etc that would have worked the line through Coulsdon South between Oct 1990 and June 1993.

I know that 1704 (Class 421 4CIG) did a trip through as I have a photo of it.

Not for specific services per se but those would have been usually allocated to those trains. i.e. the Selhurst allocated ones or Brighton allocated ones.

Can anyone advise ?

Thanks in advance

If you can find a 1991ish Platform 5 stock book for EMUs, that will show you the unit numbers of the Brighton/Selhurst-allocated VEP, CIG etc. That should about cover it.
Selhurst for inner suburban units, Brighton for outer suburban (VEP) and express (CIG) units, at least that's how it was in the 80s.
