Please direct me if already been spoken about. In the January 2019 copy of modern railways page 10, there is a sentence about the new Piccadilly line tube trains that I'm rather confused about
Considering the current 73stock have a capacity of 684 passengers, where did this figure more comparable to a 12 car class 700 come from? Is it a typo or am I reading it wrong?
Also keen to see how TFL are going to keep the 73s up until 2024 and the 72s up likely into the 2030s as unlike the GOBLIN, these simply can't close.
Each will have a capacity of 1,433 passengers along with wider doors and fully air-conditioned carriges and in-train passenger passenger information systems to help passengers plan onward journeys.
