Some friends are catching the Orient Express tomorrow, 1st February, from Victoria, but I can't see any reference to it on RealTimeTrains. I think it will depart at around 11.30.

Where can I find out the details and planned
route?

Thanks.

Orient Express, or Belmond British Pullman?

The later is due to depart Victoria tomorrow at 1107. Headed to Gillingham, Kent.

No, I'm sure it is the Orient Express, and passengers have been asked to be on board by 11.25. If it was 11.07, they would have missed it :lol:

It seems recently that the times have been agreed by Network Rail in advance of course, but put into the timetable on the day as a 'Very Short Term Plan' - that's what happened last Saturday at Manchester Vic, along with all the associated empty coaching stock runs.

Belmond British Pullman uses the same stock as the "Orient Express", but AIUI the Orient Express name is only advertised for trains that form part of the international route to Venice. There's an advertised circular service around Kent on Belmond's website for tomorrow departing at 1105...

It's going to be the British Pullman in any case, as Belmond lost the rights to the previous name...

It's either this circular path round via Gillingham, which is what the website is advertising and highly likely to be I expect:
http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/P80098/2019/02/01/advanced
http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/P80099/2019/02/01/advanced

Or this train via Hove:
http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/P80120/2019/02/01/advanced
http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/P80119/2019/02/01/advanced

My money would be on the first one, leaving at 1107, as that is what is on the website. However, that's not to say they haven't changed it and not updated the website.

Thanks. I've found a train at 11.07 which is 'FRGT' and does a circular round Maidstone East, Ashford, Canterbury, Margate and back via Gillingham. The times seem to match the Belmond website - and it is a Murder Mystery trip, which is what I now recall it is.
