Finally got a date next Monday for my MMI and 2nd assessments. Anyone got any tips or advice? I’m most worried about the traffic picture one to be honest.. any help would be great
I found the reaction test pretty straight forward. There's not much you can do to prepare for this. I downloaded a couple of reaction apps to help prepare for it.
The perception test, there's two really good videos on YouTube, that really help you prepare for this. I'm sure they're on the forum, just type perception test into the search bar.
The hand coordination test for me was the hardest. Best bit of advice, don't panic if you go out the track as i lost count the amount of times which I did. It's all about how you recover.
Good luck

Can anyone confirm if the cables and dials tests in the actual assessment is the exact same format as the exercises in the practice material issued?

Thanks

Not exactly the same but very similar. There are values added which must be taken into consideration. There are three practice examples prior to the test which help.

Probably a silly/pointless question at this stage but perhaps those who mention their application was 'under consideration' could point me in the direction of where they found this info?

Just had an email to say I’ve passed the written tests from yesterday in the 12:30 session. Winner.

Hi Pete2244, I found the information on the application form page. How I found this was via my emails. So when you registered for the vacancy they sent you an email with a link to go back and amend your application. I found going through this link allowed me access. Good luck.
Try this link.

johnd371, Thanks very much mate. The link worked. I'm apparently still 'under consideration'......you never know!

Haha yes I remember that well! Yeah I had the grey suit on. In the e-mail it said they would get back to us over the coming weeks

Anyone know where you can practice some tea occ tests? I saw someone posted a test track but looking for more as I think this will be the toughest part of the test. Can’t buy the software on amazon as I don’t have a cd drive... suggestions welcome

I'm in the same position as you, from what I can gather, we shouldn't give up hope, it seems months can pass and out of the blue they get in touch! They are contacting retired drivers trying to get them to return due to major shortages so undoubtedly there is a need! I'm assuming it may also depend on the area you are in and the current need there, just my own view though. Hope you hear soon, its a hell of a wait!!
