Try 826. Its due out soon.
ThanksTry 826. Its due out soon.
I can't wait to see that!!!Seen a photo of a 158 in TfW colours taken by a driver. No logos or company name on the sides yet though. Currently in the shed at Crewe.
I believe the plan is to paint the rest of them (as opposed to wrap) I think they're also supposedly getting further partial refurbishment for their last couple of years with TfW. Power socket fitment and air conditioning repairs at the very least from what I heard. Probably also seat refoaming "where necessary" as in only refoam the harder seats.I got a run out on one of the new liveried 175's last week. Grabbed a quick picture as the sun was going down as I jumped aboard looked really nice. View attachment 59445 View attachment 59443 View attachment 59444

Maroon, actually. Part of the refurbishment done under ATW a few years back (when the old P4/5 were turned into a car park).I see that Llandudno station now has red TfW signposts!
Whoops, I got that all completely wrong didn't I! Thanks for letting me know.Maroon, actually. Part of the refurbishment done under ATW a few years back (when the old P4/5 were turned into a car park).
I agree. Ironically I think the ATW liveried ones actually have black inbetween the actual cab window and the bottom cab "window".Think it needs more black around cab windows
The progress on 150/2 PRM conversions is painfully slow. There's 10 months left to get over 30 x 150/2s and 13 x 153s done, along with the rest of the 158s.284 was indeed released from Crewe today. It's in Arriva blue and green.
The GWR 153s are now going to TfW in March, and one poster just said that the first Northern Pacers will still become available in May, and Canton are going to be doing PRM mods on some of the 150s, right...?The progress on 150/2 PRM conversions is painfully slow. Brexit is not the only thing going down to the wire this year.
I still don't see how it can be achieved without horrendous and totally unacceptable short forming. 150s have to have WSP fitted in time for September/October as well. The 144s from Northern are not at all confirmed. The GWR 153s are now going to TfW in March, and one poster just said that the first Northern Pacers will still become available in May, and Canton are going to be doing PRM mods on some of the 150s, right...?
I was asked when I thought the first one would leave, not when it will leave. The GWR 153s are now going to TfW in March, and one poster just said that the first Northern Pacers will still become available in May, and Canton are going to be doing PRM mods on some of the 150s, right...?
My bad!I was asked when I thought the first one would leave, not when it will leave.
(Photographer not known, but can contact me or mods should they want it removed)
I thought that the 153s are being withdrawn along with the Pacers...? installing the PRM toilet room and extra wheelchair space in the 153s would significantly reduce their already low seating capacity, and although removing the "standard" toilet rooms (rather than locking them out of use) would re-create a little bit of seating capacity, this would mean they would basically have to cling on to some of the 150s all the time...I still don't see how it can be achieved without horrendous and totally unacceptable short forming. 150s have to have WSP fitted in time for September/October as well. yes indeed, although note the previous talk about the white in-between the two sections of the cab window, and I've just noticed as well that the "ribbon glazing" effect doesn't really work that well with the non-tinted windows...Very nice!

Thanks for that, was not aware. Since headed over but your post on there actually had less info than your one on here!As I pointed out on the other, probably more relevent thread, TfW are holding on to all 13 (the current 8 plus 5 from GWR) 153s till 2023. There are plans to make them compliant but as to what exactly is going to be done or when they've not said publicly yet
How about 150284? Is that out and about today?
