Can’t speak for Scotrail in particular but driver interviews as a whole will basically be structured similar to this:
- tell us a little about yourself (little history about your career so far)
- what can you tell us about our company?
- A few rules questions (some will have this as a mini test before interview others will ask in interview)
- A few situational based questions (name a time when you’ve had to deal with....... etc)
- Have you any questions? (Chance to ask about the company and ask about routes, rostering, etc)
Structure varies company to company, but ultimately if you prepare for each of these steps you should be covered
