Can anyone confirm if this is now valid on all routes operated now by TL including to Peterborough, Cambridge, Rainham (Kent), East Grinstead, Orpington, Horsham, Littlehampton and Gillingham (Kent) please?

As far as I am aware the validity text from the http://www.railrover.org/pages/thameslink-daysave.html page states:

The Thameslink Daysave extends from Bedford in the north to Brighton on the south coast via London St.Pancras International, Blackfriars and East Croydon.

It also includes Wimbledon and Sutton and as far as Sevenoaks in Kent and to London Bridge.

Note that this ticket is only valid on trains operated by Thameslink.

So am wondering if it's valid on TL services to the new destinations as listed above or is still restricted to the classic TL routes?

That sucks, they should make it valid on all TL services regardless especially as you can do this on the Southern DaySave ticket.

If it were to be extended to all routes you might then think that the resulting increase in cost is unpalatable.

It would be better to keep this one as it is and then have something different to cover the other routes.

Thameslink treating more of their customers with contempt. Its exactly the same with their Off Peak accompanied childs ticket, its not available or valid on any of their Kent lines and also some stations have also lost the SE Kids for a quid ticket (No SE Trains off peak)
