Llandaf is also a two-platform station that has a bridge going over the station.
All of the 2,520 railway stations on the National Rail network in Great Britain are classified into six categories (two of which are each divided into two subcategories) by the Department for Transport.
Manchester Victoria is quoted on Wikipedia as an example of a Category B Station, whereas Welwyn Garden City is an example of a Category C1 Station.
How is this related to Manchester Victoria though? Because there are hundreds of Category B and Category C1 stations.
The point is they are the listed examples on Wikipedia for stations of the different categories: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom_railway_station_categories
That seems very, very tenuous. Literally every station has a categorisation. Surely there should at least be a link that they are both category B?
(I think it's too recent since we already got Elephant & Castle 3 turns prior)Elephant & Castle is also a four-platform station with a DfT category rating of "E".
