Today I have found the user interface on the WebTis TPE site totally different to how it was yesterday and previously. It is fine on the first page, but when you have selected your journeys and clicked on "Buy now" it goes to a completely different layout to what I am used to. When paying, although it does find my saved cards I keep having to input the start and end dates, and payment seems to happen after I have accepted the T&Cs and clicked on Buy Now.

Just wondered whether it's my machinery or has anyone else noticed this change (well if you have encountered it you can hardly miss it!).

I noticed this change on Friday too.

Not sure why TPE (or more likely ATOS, who control MixingDeck/WebTIS) felt the need to update the TIS, seeing as it must surely be 'end of life' by now, but it's nevertheless interesting, though it doesn't add anything other than the ability to save card details as far as I can tell.

I think they are making the Mixing Deck redirect into the newer non-Mixing Deck summary screen, which would make sense as it would mean less to maintain.

It's probably ATOS. By the way (this may be of interest) it's mandatory for all ATOS staff to book expensed rail travel through the public interface of RedSpottedHanky, which may well be one reason why it's kept going. Obviously the fee and commission is just an internal transaction when used for that purpose, and no doubt they can run whatever reporting they like directly against the back end.

Oh, okay thanks. Not just me then. I was quite happy with the previous version but all good things come to an end  .

Do you mean the actual Mixing Deck itself? No, that still works using the URL you gave. If you don't get it, clear your cookies or use a private browser and you will get it again (if you use the new interface it won't give you the old one again unless you do so). I thought you meant the purchase summary screen.

Another thing I have noticed - on the (i) information against each service, it no longer says "train continues to ***". That was quite useful when trying to explain to someone which train to look for at their connections. Bring back the old format, I am not getting on well with this one.

It would seem that the information is still displayed, it's just that the white text is against a background that is now white. Oh dear. At least you can see what the text says by highlighting it, but it's certainly not an ideal method of quickly scanning through itineraries.

And definitely not accessible!

Especially not on a phone!

I messaged them about it on Twitter a few days ago and they replied that they would pass it to the appropriate department. Looks like it’s still in the “too difficult” pile :'( .

Still better than their app which forces you towards the TPE only ticket with no apparent way of changing it to the any permitted version.

Select departure time, scroll down and itll show all tickets for that route, as shown below:
