Simmer jordan, not sure theres many babes on herethat's what she said.
I still think there are on the wrong routes, and would have been better on the 25 or even 44.
Perhaps one of the reasons Lothian went to ADL to see if they could do a better job? I have seen a few of the B8Ls in service now and one 11 yesterday was standing room only. If there is no issues with them on main routes, is it safe to assume that this will not be the only batch of B8Ls heading to Lothian...The build quality fell off a cliff at some point during 2017.
The 17 plate Geminis are pretty decent, but the 18 plate ones are awful. When someone walks down the upper deck, it flexes and creaks like it's about to collapse, and if you're downstairs you can see it flexing.
Im only stipulating but I assume things may pick up as well when an LEZ is established.Perhaps one of the reasons Lothian went to ADL to see if they could do a better job? Same happened to me yesterday. Was one of the 200 batch that turned up!went to try and get a wee run on one of the new buses, only to find 1056 turn up. can’t say i was too pleased
I always sit upstairs at the back (im prepared for the junkie comments) and everytime i walk along upstairs the seats/poles sound like they tense and might break. Happens on all 1051-1062 as ive been on all then 30+ timesThe build quality fell off a cliff at some point during 2017.

I agree id of much prefered to see normal Enviro 400 MMC's and Enviro 200 MMC's. I don't think the XLB's look good with their length, glass staircase and non framed windows which the stantard MMC's haveI just hope if they do buy more it's shorter models with a second buggy space.

Seems like a good review. Good to see the 55 plates still going strong, the Lothian 55 plates are the best batch of buses in the uk imoLong time lurker, first time poster here. Got to ride one of the 400XLBs today. From a passenger perspective, I must say I quite liked it. The first thing you notice is when you walk upstairs and do that look for a seat that everyone does, and you think "Wow, that's a long way to the back." The seats are the same as the Gemini 3s, so nothing new there. I did like the mood lighting on the inside - Gives it a really classy look. It's also really quiet - You can barely hear the engine. The ventilation fan is loud, as another poster said, but not excessively so in my opinion. The best thing about it though is the lack of rattles! As someone who rides the SA15 and SJ67 Gemini 3s every day, I must say it's really nice to have a break from the incessant rattles that the grab handles and that panel at the top of the stairs give off. The "Warning - Exit doors closing" at every stop, sometimes twice at a stop, did get a little annoying but I think you'd soon learn to ignore that if you rode them every day. Legroom also isn't amazing, but I expected that on a bus they designed to cram 100 on.
Overall, I was very impressed with them. Rode from Tollcross to Ocean Terminal, then headed home on bus 703 on the 35. Feel like I got to ride the newest and (now) oldest in one day.

215 was at Marine on Sunday clearly just back from diesel concersion as it has an advert from Januray and has a silver panel behind the emergency exit door with the grills the diesel buses have203, 206 and 215 are the remaining hybrids, so it could be that they're getting converted to diesel only.
Service 5 will be the route on vintage running day on April 13th
Probably 213.......noticed this morning that one of the original (ex-)hybrids was carrying Lothian City branding (actually running on the 10) (couldn't see which one it was)
Some of these now showing at LongstoneAlso B7 update 778/787 are back at Central from Marine Car Park, 775/784/788/789 are now Longstone based however no 55s have been Withdrawn, 786 is now Marine bases, 767/771/772/779-781/811/815/820/825 remain withdrawn at Marine Car Park
I am wondering where the buses will terminate and turn round in Morningside and Brunstane, and if 112/701 will be there too.Service 5 will be the route on vintage running day on April 13th
