Hi Guys,

I’ve recently received a conditional offer from Reading for the role of trainee train driver, I currently work in a safety critical role and I’ve had two safety critical medical s before and passed with no issues.

I wanted to find out if anyone has recently done a medical with GWR for the role of trainee train driver and if so what test did they use for colour vision? Someone I know has recently had a medical with GWR and they didn’t use the tried and tested Ishihara test, they used another test.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Don’t hold me to it, but I think this is the other test they can use.

Never seen this one....is it just a case of identifying the visible colours?

This type of test, I believe you point out which dot is the odd one out of the group of them. There's one that's a different shade than the rest.
