They were just brought up Yesterday and today.
Even if it's coming from London, that fleet number doesn't seem to exist...
There are pictures of it on Twitter.Brand new, straight from the factory in Scarborough!
Hello there. I'm honestly not trying to ask a stupid question here but are the 18-plate 3-axle Volvo / Plaxton Panther LE's staying til at least the early 2020's?
If (or when) I make my first trip to Scotland (in this case Edinburgh) in Spring next year then I'll be very keen to ride on one. X56 routes if I've read correctly on a website.
I ask as it's rare (but can happen) I guess that 2-year-old vehicles get replaced unless they're very problematic.
From looking at the interior photos, clearly these coaches offer almost double the space of a still good normal single-decker bus with front seats, certainly way more room than an MAN E200 - I caught one, 39696, from Brackley to Bicester on Stagecoach Midlands route 8. They may be powerful things for the size but front seat legroom is poor!

Doubt it. Lack of toilets and the number of seats will decrease from 61/63/65 (delete as appropriate) to 53.There is a rumor saying another six are coming for the X54.
27906 and 27912 transferred to Perth today.
29013 and 29017 are due to move from Perth to Aberdeen tomorrow.
27906 is already out in service.
27912 was out today as well, both were on 1/2 when I saw them. On the 7 was a 1/2 branded E300....
This is what I don't get with Stagecoach. They include Dunkeld within the current Zone 3 Megarider, yet Crieff is included in the Tayside Megarider.
Not only has Crieff got a more frequent service to and from Perth, journey times and mileage are almost exactly the same. Services to and from Dunkeld have a less frequency.
So passengers travelling between Crieff and Perth have to pay an extra £56.40 from what I can make out, for absolutely nothing.
That anomaly dates back to the days of Bankfoot Buses running at silly fares between Perth and Dunkeld.
Well it's an anomaly that needs to be sorted out quickly. Folk are paying extra money for nothing.
It’s really the other way round. Crieff-Perth passengers are paying the ‘going rate’ for the distance involved, but those doing Dunkeld-Perth are paying much less than the ‘going rate’. Therefore some folk aren’t paying enough for something, ...but as it’s a much smaller number of people involved, the company can probably live with it, ...and I think it’s still a PKC supported service too!
Not running to time, a lot of North East folk moaning because it doesn't go into the bus station. Also hearing rumours about the 34 coming back, replacing the x37 to the retail park and on to Lochgelly/Ballingry, presumably replacing one of the 33s, freeing up a Dunfermline driver (they are still struggling for numbers) and 53/x53/x42 or whatever they call it this time although Stagecoach still deny that one on social media. Why would that happen? Can m&w not coupe? There is also a rumor aberhill getting 8 b9 coaches from somewhere in the stagecoach empire.
