I was found a dog running loose in Upminster. We managed to find its owners who said that the day before it had taken the train to Limehouse all on its own. They were going to take measures to keep it in the garden.

Definitely a lovely dog that Tyson. I wonder if he enjoyed the experience?

Does that station have any barriers?

Here are two more railway travelling dogs who were apparently quite well known in their time:

Bob

Lampo

Probably wanted barking.

This genuinely happens in Russia stray dogs board the train in the suburbs to commute to the tourist spots in the city. Beg for food and then return to the suburbs to sleep.

It was trying to get the District Line to Barking. But people... they must interfere!

Pigeons often ride a couple of stops on the tube, I've seen it happen quite a few times on the District Line round Earl's Court.

Was one on the train from Blackpool to Preston a few weeks back - just sat on the luggage rack then got off

My dog once boarded the underground on his own, even learning to play the trumpet en route.

He went from Barking to Tooting.
