Its been a long time coming but we're very proud to announce our new book which is due for publication in mid June this year.
Compiled in the successful format of the Haynes Owners’ Manuals, this new book has been compiled exclusively by 125 Group to provide a detailed insight into the construction and operation of our favourite train.
Our manual documents the introduction of the prototype and production trains and takes a look under the skin of the production power car in detail, with an array of photographs and diagrams showing the many components, which are described in depth. The numerous technical details and variations are explained, along with a study and appraisal of both the original and the replacement equipment installed during the life extension programme undertaken during the 2000s.
The manual draws upon the experience of engineers, drivers and enthusiasts who have worked with the Inter-City 125 during the trains’ long service careers and is destined to become a definitive work on these iconic trains.
