The 'most powerful loco in the UK' title has to go to the Channel Tunnel shuttle electric locos - the majority are rated at 7MW (9400hp). You could also consider those as an 'export' as they were assembled at Brush Traction, Loughborough, for a company headquartered in Paris.

Good point. Exports is something of a grey area - nine of the Class 92s were also exported using the same criteria as they were bought by SNCF, even though their home depot was Crewe Electric.

The Arlanda Express trains in Sweden were built in Birmingham if I'm not mistaken.

And Johannesburg's Gautrain.
And trams in Strasbourg.

Also these days most big transport beasts (road, rail, air) are global in nature, and the distinction between "domestic" and "export" is blurred.
Your Airbus many be French/German built but it will have British (Welsh) wings.
Your Hitachi class 80x may have been built in Japan, Italy or Britain but it will have German (Rolls Royce) MTU diesel power packs.
Your right-hand-drive BMW may have been built in South Africa.

Don't tell the Brexiteers...
