I predict things to hit the fan against City on Wednesday.
One ray of hope is that we’re at home.
Not that that means anything at the moment

Much as I hope that it’ll be different I think City will brush you aside on Wednesday.
It feels to me that if any team has a chance of taking points off City in this last few games it’s probably Leicester.

Villa 1-0 up but we've not hit top gear in the second half and it's getting very nerve-wracking now. This type of game is Millwall's style and not ours

edit: We really don't make it easy, really could have done with that going in for my poor nerves

edit 2: 4 minutes of injury time? Where's that come from?

Oldham 3-2 Mansfield

Huge win for Oldham as they still have chance of making play offs. If anyone watch match live on SKY I wonder if they will agree with me by saying that Oldham probably just deserve victory knowing we got very lucky at end of match. (I do think linesman made right call about offside goal for Mansfield)

Oldham travel to Exeter who currently seven in table on Saturday and if Oldham have any chance of making play offs they would need to beat Exeter as anything else would end Latics hope of reaching play offs.

Another player from the Spurs likely not able in at least the first game against Ajax: Moussa Sissoko.

Are Leeds attempting to win the title of biggest bottlers from Spuds?

We are luring everyone into a false sense of security before unleashing peak Bielsa-ball in the playoffs.

Hoping for Frank Lampards Derby in the playoffs.

I’m in two minds about our next game. On one hand we are only 3 points behind and stranger things have happened. On the other, we should rest our team for the playoffs and play some fringe players.

3 points and 9 worse with goal difference, although not the worse swing (just hammer the next team with a rugby score)

There are two games left, theoretically we’d only need 4 points if Sheff Utd lost both games. However, we have the on form Villa in our next game, whereas The Blades have relegated Ipswich...

Arsenal with a game in hand on Chelsea, Leicester/Wolves/Brighton up ahead, I reckon a Champions League spot finish is still in sight although god knows the defence needs to be sorted out.

Wolverhampton at home against Arsenal is no certainty for Arsenal. Spurs should be easier, but as we say in the Netherlands: the ball is round. Anything can happen!

Champions in 2005, 2006, 2010, 2015 and 2017. Manchester City has taken over that place.

What's it called? It's called Cumbernauld
I heard on the tranny earlier on that former Manchester City and Aston Villa manager Billy McNeill (born 1940) sadly passed away yesterday.

Although in the 1986-87 season he had the dubious honour of managing two teams in the same season that were relegated (both Manchester City and Aston Villa, which I remember that very well), he is famous for being a member of the Lisbon Lions side at Celtic that became the very first British and Northern European team to win the European Cup in 1967 against Internatzionale, and all with Scotland born players too.

No great shock at Old Trafford tonight. We were dire again yet I don’t think city were superb.
They just played better than us.
Think for them it maybe squidgy bum time for the last couple of games.
However all they have to do is keep winning & they’ll be champions.
Liverpool could win every remaining game & be first of the losers.

I was obviously disappointed with the result. Ha ha. Ah well.

Wolves 3-1 Arsenal!

An absolutely delightful evenings viewing at Molineux last night, which saw our first win v the Gunners since Thacther was in Number 10 (Sep 29 1979)!

Another stunning Free-Kick by Ruben Neves, a Matt Doherty header and a calm Diogo Jota finish blew Unai’s Men Away in the 2nd half of the 1st 45.

Sokratis got a mere consolation, but despite there 71% procession barely looked a threat.

On to 51 Points and back into 7th, with our highest Top Flight points total since 1971.

Next up is Watford on Saturday, which could determine who gets 7th and dependent on the Cuo Fibal, who also gets Europe!

Nuneaton Borough look like getting a record crowd at Liberty Way of about 3500. 3000+ of these will be from Stockport who will take the title if they win. Odds of upto 25-1 are available for a Nuneaton win.

I think last night's result pretty much gives City the title. Can't see them dropping points in their final 3 games, they certainly seem to have the easier run in

If Manchester City do win the PL, then Liverpool only have themselves to blame as they have only taken 1 point from the two PL games with Man City this season whereas Man City have taken 4 points. Head to head has made all of the difference

Most certainly wasn't. A cracking result for Wolves and quite a dent in the Gooners' top four hopes.

I have no great interest in any Premier league team and usually watch the games with an air of detachment. I was mildly pleased that Man City won last night, though. You know what they say,

Anyone but Liverpool.........

I also didn't think City were at their best but they out fought United on their own ground which must be a worry to United fans. I also thought that the atmosphere was pretty flat, especially for a game under the lights, but I was only watching on telly so it can be misleading.

Burnley could play park the bus and leave us with 0-0 and even more annoyed at Mahrez for sending the ball into orbit when he stole the penalty at Anfield.
