Advice Please Loughborough Kettering

If I purchase a Season ticket Loughborough to Kettering would routing via Market Harborough or Oakham be valid ?

Both are valid, but no travel through Leicester on the latter from what I can see so must go direct via the Syston north curve.

So a no go

What is it you are trying to do? Loughborough - Corby at the same price should allow you to go via Leicester and Oakham on the same journey, plus all the validity on the Kettering ticket.

It would also be valid on the direct train that runs that way, and obviously any weekend diversions via Corby as well

The object is to enable 16 year student to travel to/ from home (Manton) which is 4 mile south of Oakham and student going to Loughborough College daily.
Outward travel more or less fixed times but return is at different times and one parent work based in Corby with flexiable hrs and the other similar home based but work travel area south east midlands and Peterborough area. Grand parents live nr Market Harborough able to act as a backstop will pick up and take home as necessary.
