Yes, I remember. I expect their paint facility that was put in not that long ago at Bournemouth can’t work any faster.

It's effectively a week per unit, given they have 172 units to do.

If they continued the First Class yellow stripe as a blue stripe down the rest of the train it would make the boundary between side and roof look a little less bare.

Shame LNR are turning around the repaint of their units a lot faster considering they are nearly all desiro at the moment as well

There’s a big difference: LNR are not painting their 350s, it’s vinyl.

The non stripey design really does look crappy and cheap on the diesels.

Shame this franchise can’t do anything right at the minute. I’m trying to think of something but I can’t.

It isn’t as straightforward as paint vs vinyl. The SWR repaint will probably be the basic overall grey colour with vinyl for the detailing, just as is the case with the 442s.

SWR's livery is painted blue and grey, with vinyl for the logos and various information/numbering added on top.

The first few units were all-vinyl, then a couple were finished in part-vinyl (blue areas only), but all-paint is the standard and how the 442s have been done.

159004 has returned to Salisbury TRSMD today.

450s:
005, 008, 015, 016, 018, 019, 020, 032, 033, 037, 038, 041, 075, 079, 080, 081, 082, 083, 084, 085, 091, 094, 095, 097, 100, 103, 106, 111, 112, 113, 115, 119, 121, 122(34 units completed)(27% complete)

*currently being done

Let me know if any more trains have been fully refurbished and I will edit this post regularly

This matches the photos of the actual thing under construction at Derby a couple of months ago.

I think the chances of getting a partly refurbed 450 or a fully refurbed 450 are equal now - if not, fully refurbed 450s are more common than partly refurbed ones

No, the livery is part 2, units we list are the ones with the full interior.

444040 and 450111 have the full interior.

I would assume a couple more Desiros are now done - I don't have unit numbers though. 159004 was the most recently re-liveried 159.

Havant has blue bands around the grey canopy posts now which is more colourful and presumably the agreed branding going forward . Havant looks very smart !

Yes, booked empty to Guildford. I saw it at Cosham and had to double check.
