Loughborough Platform Filming

Has anyone had any experience of entering at Loughborough station doing platform filming?

Am I likely to be let through the barriers by asking or is likely to be a platform ticket.

I’m looking to do some filming at around mid day on a weekday.

The station staff are friendly there but they've had a few nasty fatalities and have had previous history with misbehaving enthusiasts so they did at one point have a policy of not allowing folk in to hang around on the platform.

I believe they've eased off a bit now but definitely speak to the station supervisor first.

What sort of film do you use? Is it difficult to get hold of nowadays?

Thanks @LowLevel. I’ll only be there for about an hour so hopefully they’re nice enough.

Platform staff at Loughborough are lovely, just ask them.

Agreed they are very friendly at Loughborough.

Platform tickets are only required in compulsory ticket areas, Loughborough station isn't one so you should be let onto the platform on request.

Thanks for all the help guys. Managed to get on the platform no problem at all. Station staff were kind and friendly. Only thing they did ask is whether I had a tripod (which I didn’t)
