I remember seeing this Transit at the motor show at the NEC in the early 2000's. I badly wanted it. I still do.

I've got a V-reg Renault Master which has done 222k miles. I don't really use it very much, but recently, I've been thinking about converting it into a camper van at some point this or next year. That'll depend on if it passes its next MoT though.

Where I work has 68-reg Sprinter minibuses which are (IMO) nice to drive.

barely broken in for a Sprinter!

Quite! I'm still fairly certain the bodywork will go before the engine! Last MOT in October passed first time with 2 advisories only! 1 for an exhaust bracket loose, which all was required was a new bolt and 1 for break pipes covered in grease (I'd covered them in waxoil). I was well chuffed!

Good going.

Supervan 3 wasn't actually a Transit body. It was 90% scale.
Ah, I see. It honestly had me fooled lol

By far my favourite part of that episode & one of my fave T.G moments in general. When Clarkson discreetly gives that thumbs' up to the camera, you know he's been up to something. (although the XJ220 rims and the extra dials beside the steering wheel sorta give the game away lol) That van is the definition of bonkers.
