Has a 59 actually failed - 60 on front of 765N Merehead to Acton

It was due at Reading at 1040, but appears to have lost two hours near Pewsey, and is now nearly three and a half late at Reading....

usual 59 on front, but no power by the sound of it, and a DB class 60 on the front.... under power (Anyone know which 60?)

Thank you. I thought it was, but was slightly caught out as I expected another 59..... doing what they do..... lugging heavy stuff .... I haven't seen the doyen of the class for almost 30 years.....

Oddly enough. Driving past Newhaven New Yard or Aggregate Yard this morning; I saw 66150 appearing to be rescuing 59206.

The 59 was on its own when I first drove past but on the return the 66 had arrived to couple up.

I saw that from a passing train yesterday - the 60 was on the front.

Another one has sat down today on 7A09, although this one is a 59/2.....
