Is this what I saw pass through at Welwyn Garden City on Monday, going north?

No, that would have been 802 203, seen here at Doncaster that day. Moving from Eastleigh, I think, to Newcastle.

Did someone ask for an internal layout?

In my opinion that’s a much better balance of tables and airline seats, compared to the Mk5

I'm really happy with that provision of toilets, two acessable and 3 standard. Probably the best layout toilet-wise of any of the Nova Fleet!

Definitely an improvement on the 185's two, especially considering one is usually broken!

Ok, I couldn't see what it said!

Funny idea to have a gallery on a train, will it be showing originals or prints?

An 802 running to Eastleigh? Why go (back) there?
http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/K00077/2019/05/28/advanced, 10am snapshot http://archive.fo/kqcEe (right time as of 9.54 am).
That’s all irrelevant to why the unit is going to Eastleigh though, which is a depot practically on the south coast where certain commissioning work takes place, but on a route where 800/801/802 will never run in public service...

I made a mistake. Excuse me.
Because there was no space in Newton Aycliffe, class 802 was written somewhere in the thread that it was temporarily stored in Southampton.

It's 180107 so folk can stop getting worked up about the the rights and wrongs of sending an 802 to Eastleigh

And besides, Eastleigh has a contract to undertake modification/rectification works on the 80x fleet anyway. If Eastleigh has the skills, knowledge and capacity, why shouldn't they get the work?
