We next move to England for the next journey.....

This is number 716 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Ogbourne
It follows the line of the Midland and South Western Junction Railway...Note there are two "heritage-type" stations on this leg
It then follows the line of the Birmingham and Gloucester Railway
It then follows the line of the Gloucester Loop Line
It then follows the line of the Tewkesbury and Malvern Railway
It then follows the line of the Cotswold Line
It then follows the line of the Cherwell Valley Line
It then follows the line of the Wycombe Railway
It then follows the line of the Watlington and Princes Risborough Railway
The journey ends at the closed station of Watlington

The first closed station on this journey is Ogbourne

Chiseldon Camp Halt

(After which I'll not be participating for a week / ten days: off to stay for a while, with essentially Internet-less relatives !)

One source suggests a halt at Swindon village, between Cheltenham High Street and Cleeve, but I can't find any map evidence for it.

Moving on, we have a choice at the open station of Ashchurch - right for the Gloucester Loop Line and left for the Tewkesbury and Malvern, both of which appear in the itinerary. I am a bit confused but I will plump for Tewkesbury and keep my fingers crossed.
