Since the timetable change has anyone took notice what traction has been being used on the 09:24 Southport to Leeds via Brighouse? This is the same diagram as the 18:23 Leeds to Wigan Wallgate via Brighouse, (previously Wigan NW). Prior to the timetable change, Mondays to Fridays always seemed to throw up a 142 that may or may not have been coupled up to another 142 or a 150.
On the 3 Saturdays prior to the timetable change a single 150 on it's own was used.

I have got a video of railways of the Lake District in 1995. There are plenty of 142s on there. It was the time when they were receiving Cummins engines and new doors. Plenty of them on there had an exhaust sounding like that.

Did 142089 Lancaster to Morecambe return today.
On way back to Manchester Victoria from Hebden Bridge 142037 was coupled to 153316 (18.06). Driver and guard in 142 at front and separate guard on 153 unit.

Was in Darlington this afternoon and there were plenty of Pacers around. 142021 and 142026 being 2 examples.
