I don't often visit the Cinema, but I made an exception to see Detective Pikachu today (and last Sunday)!

Beats - an excellent film, a bit like Trainspotting in style and content. (No actual rail content though! :D )

Unusually, mostly made in black and white!

Before that The Death of Stalin.
Before that Dunkirk in 2017.

Went to see Avengers End Game a couple of weeks ago. I might start going more frequently now because all the Vue cinemas nearby seem to do tickets for any film at time for £5.99, in recliner seats. (Certainly a lot cheaper than the £10-11 I’d pay at my local Odeon)

Last time I went to the cinema, it was UGC in Aberdeen and the film, I think, was Human Traffic. Obviously I'm not a regular cinema-goer!

Mostly Glasgow-ish. Mostly.
Endgame on Sunday having already seen it on release in Amsterdam a month ago. There was a lot I missed first time around so it definitely merited a second bite at the cherry.

Such a great film. There is a sequel in development.

I'm a regular cinema goer. I went last Saturday to see John Wick 3.

Same here - and the last thing I went to see prior to that will have been When Marnie Was There in 2016

I was quite enjoying Detective Pikachu right up until just after the end credits, when I knew for certain that my favourite species of Pokemon (Chikorita) was definitely not making an appearance

"The Accused" staring Jodie Foster circa 1988!

I remember it was in a cinema in Salford Quays as I was staying in a hotel there whilst on business and it was something to do in the evening.

Something like 40 years ago, in Dresden when it was still very much in the DDR. No memory at all of what I saw.

Avengers End Game. Don’t go often but it was full. Got 2 tickets for £10 so could hardly complain.

Before that the last one was Dunkirk.

Anybody go Cinema on there own or always with someone?

Not for a while but I have in the past. I work shifts so I would go to see something during the week. Now I have kids I tend to go with them. I did, once, go on my own to watch one film, whilst they watched something in another screen. I really didn't want to watch another kids film.

Now they are grown/growing up they have started to go out with their mates more and have become more independent. My film list for the rest of this year is family orientated or something I'd go with friends with. 'Shaft' and 'Anna' are more exclusive to my taste so I'll most likely catch those on my own during the week with one of my free tickets for the year. (6 each year from the bank)

I sometimes go on my own. I've never understood why it is specifically considered by some to be a social experience - what do you do when you get there? You sit down, shut up and watch the film. Perfectly fine on your own. Indeed a common evening activity if I go away with work.

I saw Disney's live action version of Dumbo in 4DX (with moving seats and other physical effects). I'm a fan of Disney films and really enjoyed it, despite a load of negative reviews about. Going to se Aladdin (again in 4DX) on Monday and looking forward to it. Also will be going to see Toy Story 4 and The Lion King soon.

Last time I went was to see Bladerunner 2049 with friends. The two times before that were to see Alone In Berlin and Arrival and I went on my own. All three times were in a cinema called FACT in Liverpool which is really good. I don't mind going on my own at all but I enjoyed going with mates to see Bladerunner as we had lunch and beers before and then beers and discussed the film afterwards. I don't go to the cinema very often.

It's been so long since I went to the cinema I honestly cannot remember what I watched. It may have been Mamma Mia when it came out on DVD years ago

Recently seen Dumbo and Aladdin, both the "we've run out of new film ideas" live action versions, pricing was a bit different with Aladdin being at the local Cineworld and nearly £10 for the 3D version (inc. the glasses) and Dumbo being at the Plaza in Dorchester (albeit not in 3D although they wouldn't charge any more had it been 3D (inc.free loan of 3D glasses)) for their recently increased weekday price of £3.50!

I often go on my own as I've missed out a few times waiting for people to agree on a time then it's fallen through.

The last film I went to see was John Wick 3 which has been getting great reviews but I wasn't very taken with it, I thought the original worked well as it was fairly simple and didn't need to go into any details on the secretive rules are but it feels like it's lost all of what made the original good.

I use my Tesco clubcard vouchers for Cineworld. Usually take in all my own food and drink.
Last three in reverse order
Avengers Endgame the day it came out. Went with my son.
Captain Marvel. By myself.
Dumbo. With my great-nieces.
