From memory the last 142s with Leyland engines were 142034 and 142067. They were dealt with in April 1996. They got the new doors at the same time. After then, the only Pacers with Leyland TL11 engines (and SCG gearboxes) were the Class 141s, which had all been withdrawn by summer 1998.
As I understand it, the 144 (quantity, not class!) Pacers in the UK and their mechanicals are currently as follows:

National Rail (Northern): 79x Class 142s, 13x 2-car Class 144s and 10x 3-car Class 144s, all with Cummins LT10R engines and Voith hydraulic transmissions

National Rail (Transport for Wales): 15x Class 142s and 15x Class 143s, all with Cummins LT10R engines and Voith hydraulic transmissions

National Rail (Great Western Railway): 8x Class 143s, all with Cummins LT10R engines and Voith hydraulic transmissions

Midland Railway, Butterley: 141-113, with Cummins LT10R engines and Voith hydraulic transmissions

Colne Valley Railway: 141-108, with Leyland TL11 engines and SCG mechanical gearboxes

Llangollen Railway: 1-car RB004, with Leyland TL11 engine and SCG mechanical gearbox

Privately owned: 140-001, with Leyland TL11 engines and SCG mechanical gearboxes

Feel free to correct me if any aspect of this wrong!

The above sounds correct, but you may like to add the preserved Llangollen Railway single car RB004 unit
to the list, which has Leyland TL11 engines and SCG R500 gearboxes.

I believe that 140001's SCG gearboxes are an earlier type to the R500. On this video it seems to sound more like a first generation DMU:
