What are the new diagrams being introduced? It looks like the 1933 KGX-LDS forms part of one anecdotally based on some bookings I've made in June.

There’s six of them in post #53 of this thread. You’ll find your service in diagram DN802 which was expected to start on the 27th May...

I doubt it will be that quick (can an 800 handle the Highland Mainline?).

It will be, from next Monday 1x diagram (currently 91s atm) a week goes over to an IET.
There are only 13 HST diagrams, so it could be done in 13 weeks.
But it's not that simple, I'm guessing Aberdeen and Inverness would need to be fitted with new shore supplies beforehand, but easily doable in 6 months.

Yes, they can, the whole point of ordering Bi-modes was so they could operate North of Scotland services.
Anyway the GWR sets can handle the Devon banks so I don't see the Highland mainline being a problem

Well clearly the LNER twitter team have different information!
Looking at the current unmodified state of the EMT and LNER sets I expect the 2019 deadline will be extended

LNER HSTs are expected to be replaced before December anyway

'Expected' doesn't seem to be working in the Railway Sector at the moment when you look at the delays in new stock.
The first 6 diagrams replace 1 HST and 5 Mk 4 diagrams. It would appear that returning some Mk 4's is the current priority.
The HST's clearly offer more flexibility.

The HSTs are being replaced from July
Ie once those initial 6 diagrams have been introduced, the focus will be replacing the HSTs

(With the exception of NL65, which is in itself a little complicated), my understanding is that the LNER HST sets will not start to be replaced from as early as July.... it will be later in the year than that.

What is this NL65 thingy of which you all speak? :s
An LNER HST set. It’s non-standard, being 8 coaches and using VP185 power cars. It was used on a dedicated diagram involving both weekday Hull services until replaced by an Azuma recently. It is now mostly a spare set.

Thanks. Which power cars are on it?
