I'm sure I've missed it somewhere but can anyone tell me what discounts are available to SWR staff regarding crossing to the Isle of Wight. I've heard about discount but can't find anything on the platform or rail delivery group, but probably overlooked it. Is discount available on red Red funnel?

I think it’s 75% discount payable at the ticket office. A single foot passenger ticket shouldn’t set you back more than £4. And yes, Wightlink and Red Funnel. Never tried it on the hovercraft.

PRIV rate on Red Funnel, Wightlink and Hovercraft. Obviously free when you get over there on the Island Line too.

I think it’s PRIV rate for any TOC....It used to be free (on Wightlink at least) when we were part of Stagecoach.

They’ll honour your passes without any issue, don’t worry.

It's Priv rate on day singles, day returns and open returns on wightlink, Red funnel and hovertravel. Need to show your staff pass (swr touch). It's on the platform under travel reciprocal benefits. I think other TOC's it's Wightlink only for Safeguarded staff at priv rate. I have had no problems before at Portsmouth or Lymington purchasing day returns as a foot passenger.
