Another two of my own, Newark Upon Trent, it's bus station is situated next an Asda store and Scunthorpe bus station has a small Asda Supermarket a very short walk away across Carlton Street but was originally a Netto.

No. It is the original Tesco on Exchange Street just past W H Smiths. Now a Tesco Metro
So it's not actually next to the bus station, or "just over the road".

Newark is built on the site of the odd Lincolnshire Road Car bus station and depot. The Asda is mainly built on the depot site and the adjoining public carpark.
Alfreton, Derbyshire has a large Tesco supermarket across the road from the bus station (which is also the nearest toilets since Amber Valley Borough Council closed the ones in the bus station itself along with all others in the borough a few years ago, and the Chatterbox Café in the bus station was then enlarged to take up the space formerly occupied by the public toilets. I think the café does now have a toilet for customers only, though).

For many years since the Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough was opened, you had Waitrose upstairs next to the bus station of course now they've moved to be closer to the train station that no longer counts.
