HO 1:87 scale vehicles

This isn't really a question about HO railways in general but just cars in that scale.
I collect 1:87 scale model cars and would like to know if anyone knows of model shops that sell them in any number as I like to actually see a model before purchasing it. Ebay is OK but if you want to actually see the model before you buy it's not perfect

It's difficult to say without knowing which area you're in, and how far you're willing to travel. A look in the modelling press is probably the best bet - Railway Modeller, etc, or if there is a specialist magazine for those who collect cars, that'll be your best source. Even a quick search on yell.com for model shops will tell you the nearest places to visit.

I am in the Midlands but am prepared to travel as I have a staff pass. Adverts in magazines and even websites sometimes tend not to give info about specific items stocked so thought I'd ask if anyone has personal experience of anywhere.
